CRH provides professional research guidance to students enrolled in both postgraduate and undergraduate programs in form of student-mentor consultations on areas such as research proposal development, literature review, development of study tools, data collection techniques, data analysis, scientific writing of their dissertations and interpretation of research findings. As such CRH contributes to improvements in students’ skills in conducting independent research related to RH.

I graduated with a Master in Public Health (MPH) in October 2018. I joined the College of Medicine in 2015 and completed the programme in exactly 2 years. I feel that more students are able to complete the programme successfully in two years. The programme has helped to write successful funding proposals at my institution. I am currently working as a Lecturer at Holy Family College of Nursing as a head of Nursing Department.

I graduated in 2018. The course equipped me with the knowledge and skills in research and public health issues. In addition to that, I also enjoyed the various experiences from fellow students and lecturers. This course has helped me a lot in the ways that I deliver the services at my workplace. Currently, I am embarking on starting a side project on quality improvement in my department. It has further helped in getting a PhD scholarship this year. I now see everything I do is research able, but also the importance of evidence based practice and implementation science.
