Teaching and Training

The Centre for Reproductive Health participates in teaching postgraduate students pursuing a Masters in the following subjects: Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Science Degree in Global Health Implementation (MSc-GHI) and Masters in Epidemiology.

Teaching is focussed on reproductive health modules and these include: gender and health, family planning, maternal health, adolescent health, sexually transmitted infections, and HIV/AIDS prevention and management.

CRH plans to offer a Training of Trainers course in reproductive health. The aim is to build a team of RH Trainers at district level who will conduct RH in-service training and contribute to the professional development of staff at various levels of service delivery. In order to address critical reproductive health issues, CRH plans to offer the following courses: SRH Leadership, SRH and Rights, comprehensive sexuality education, monitoring and evaluation of SRHR programs, respectful and dignified midwifery care, qualitative analysis- Nvivo and SRH Proposal development.
